Dress Code

Cripple Creek Country Club is Bethany Beach’s only private resort country club. We strive to maintain a casual and comfortable atmosphere and all members and guests are expected to dress in a manner reflective of the club setting. Members are responsible for informing their guests of dress requirements prior to their arrival at the club.

CLUBHOUSE - INDOOR

Men
• Slacks
• Bermuda or golf shorts
• Shirts with collars (including turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks) and long or short sleeves
Keep shirts tucked in unless the shirts are specifically designed to be worn outside the pants or shorts (i.e., tropical shirts are acceptable).
• Hats are not permitted in any indoor dining areas except the patio. Hats may be left on when in the bar area for a brief period to order or pick up food or beverages.
• Dress denim jeans in good condition (no holes or excessive fading) are always permitted in the Clubhouse. With advance notice, management may decide jeans will not be allowed for special activities after 5pm in the Pub, 1984 or Main Dining Room.

Women
• Slacks, skirts, skorts, dresses, Bermuda or golf shorts and golf shirts
• Sleeveless shirts must have collars and collarless shirts must have sleeves
• Dress denim jeans in good condition (no holes or excessive fading) are always permitted in the Clubhouse. With advance notice, management may decide jeans will not be allowed for special activities after 5pm in the Pub, 1984 or Main Dining Room.

Prohibited Attire
• Tee shirts
• Tank tops
• Halters
• Racerback tops
• Cut off shorts
• Short shorts
• Bathing suits without a coverup

CLUBHOUSE - OUTDOOR AND PATIOS
Must adhere to either the clubhouse indoor, golf course, practice, and pickleball. In addition, a coverup is required for men and women in bathing suits, and shoes are required.

GOLF COURSE AND PRACTICE FACILITY
Club management reserves the right to refuse privileges to anyone in violation of the dress code.

Men
• Slacks
• Bermuda-length golf shorts
• Shirts with collars and sleeves including blade or mock collars, and crew neck shirts designed and marketed as golf wear
• Shirts designed to be “untucked” are acceptable and may be worn as such
• Hats shall be worn with the bill forward
• Soft spikes and spike less shoes

Women
• Slacks
• Bermuda-length golf shorts
• Capris
• Skirts
• Skorts
• Shirts with collars and sleeves including blade or mock collars, and crew neck shirts designed and marketed as golf wear
• Sleeveless shirts must have collars and collarless shirts must have sleeves
• Shirts designed to be “untucked” are acceptable and may be worn as such
• Hats shall be worn with the bill forward
• Soft spikes and spike less shoes

Prohibited Attire

• Racerbacks
• Halter tops
• Tee shirts
• Short shorts
• Cut-offs
• Cargo shorts or pants with exterior/protruding pockets
• Jeans/denim of any color
• Sweatpants
• Athletic/gym shorts
• Bathing suits
• Shoes with metal spikes

POOL
All swimmers must wear proper swim attire, no topless for women. Patrons of the pool must supply their own towels.

PICKLEBALL COURTS

Men
• Collared, mock, dry-fit tennis shirts
• T-shirts, worn with shorts or pants
• Smooth-soled athletic shoes are required. No golf shoes, flip flops, sandals, or bare feet

Women
• Collared, mock dry-fit, and sleeveless tops, racerback tops, and t-shirts
• Shorts, dresses, skirts, skorts and leggings
• Smooth-soled athletic shoes are required. No golf shoes, flip flops, sandals, or bare feet

Inappropriate Attire
• Denim of any style or color and cutoffs
• Sleeveless undershirts
• Sports bras for women without a t-shirt over the bra
• Halter tops
• Bathing suits

Safety Glasses or Sunglasses are highly recommended but not required.
