Ladies Golf 2023

CRIPPLE CREEK WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION 18 HOLE LADIES
This is a fun group of ladies of all golfing abilities. We welcome everyone who wants to make new friends, play golf for fun, or compete against ladies with similar handicaps.
We offer lots of fun activities, golf outings, and trips, as well as a fantastic two-day Member-Guest event.

Membership in the CCWGA 18 Hole Group entitles you to join the WPGA and the DWGA. As a member of these organizations, you have access to many fun tournament opportunities at courses throughout the Delmarva peninsula; Open Days, which allow members to play other member courses for cart fee only; chances to meet other women golfers and much, much more.

The CCWGA 18 Hole Ladies play every Wednesday beginning the first Wednesday in April with golf and our Opening Meeting. Our last day of organized golf is the last Wednesday in October followed by our Closing Meeting and luncheon. The end of season awards are presented and include year-long Birdies and Ringers, the Points Tournament, and the Most Improved Golfer.

The annual membership fee for the 18 Hole Ladies is $30.

9 HOLE LADIES
The 9 Hole Ladies group welcomes different levels of play. Some ladies have not been playing very long, while others have previously played in 18-hole groups. The group is a fun, welcoming group that plays by the USGA rules, and all members must establish a handicap. Participants are encouraged to learn and follow the rules of golf while having fun and making new friends. It is an excellent way to meet other club members.

Our opening day begins in April with a welcoming "Get to know" meeting. Golf starts at 10:00, shotgun so that the round is completed each Tuesday to allow the group to have lunch together. Season ends in October with a meeting, rewards, and lunch. Many events are planned throughout the golf season.

Annual membership dues are $15 and are charged to the member’s Cripple Creek account. Each week there is a different game format. Sign-up for the coming week is done through the computer using the Cripple Creek app, or the website, and the cut-off date is Saturday. There is a small fee charged to each member’s account to provide golf shop credit prizes. Winners and the prizes will be announced during lunch by the Golf Pro. Credits must be spent by the end of December.

For more information please contact:
Rosemarie Pomilla  [email protected] or call 302-519-3641.

To join either or both groups, your Cripple Creek membership must allow morning golf play.
